Groups

A group is basically the equivalent to the message that will get posted at the end. There can be no more than one message registered to a group.

Create a group

To create a selectable roles group, use the following slash command:

/selectable-roles group create 

This will open the following modal:

Input FieldDescription
TitleThe title that will be shown at the top of the embed. Also used to refer to the group in commands.
DescriptionThe description that is shown above the role options.
Single SelectTrue or False. Says if a user can select multiple roles, or only one.

List all groups

To list all selectable roles groups you have on your server, use the following slash command:

/selectable-roles group list 

Delete a group

Once a group is deleted, it can't get restored and you'd have to recreate it manually.

To delete a selectable roles group, use the following slash command:

/selectable-roles group delete group:

Edit a group

To edit a selectable roles group, use the following slash command:

/selectable-roles group edit group:

This will open the following modal, having the group-settings prefilled:

Post a group into a channel

note

Make sure Marodas can send messages into the channel you want to select.

tip

When you edit your group after having it already posted, it will automatically update.

To post the group as a interactive message, use the following slash command:

/selectable-roles group post group: channel:

Get all infos about a group

To get all informations, how the group is setup and what roles are setup with what settings, use the following slash command:

/selectable-roles group info group:
